ok, the project task 1 is about "Journeys"

identify a journey and show how it has had a significant impact on a particular aspect of life of the person who have undergone it.
draw up a plan for a journey that could be undertaken by people of your age showing how an experience of this kind could be put to good use in the wider community.

project task 2 is actually on "Modernisation"

But i dun think i'll be choosing that. sooo.... i thot of just doing on a person's journey and how it has had a significant impact. i dunno laaa.. then i dunno who to do on..?! any ideas?? i dun think i want to do on somebody famous.. everbody will be doing on that. but again,im one of the everybody! hahaha. haiyaa..

Hi. even though we make a new blog at lj, i think I'm gonna blog here-for now.
its just I'm used to this blogger.. ok.

its already 1.17am and im blogging now.

i just feel like saying what i felt.

okok. i cant help it laa. i miss those kids at darul ma'wa!!

even though it was alr 2 days ago that i visited them, i still cant get their faces and laughters out of my mind.. seriously laa.

initially, i thought it was dumb and stupid to tutor kids for cip. (I'm so sorry)

especially to the children at darul ma'wa.

cos i remembered kc went there before and it was a bad experience, till my class didn't get to go..

and i wasnt even looking forward for it.

but.... my perception of darul ma'wa changed 360degrees.

im so sorry,i take back my words.

when we reached there, i thought to myself and imagine if i were to live there.

no parents

no family

no 'home'

no freedom

but its just no happiness and love... (though they do care for u)

and the worst part is, they are still children..

we always say that we have deprived childhood and all..

but now i realised, who are we to complain all these..?

these children have to go through so much in their early stage of life..

and yet, they are not even complaining or sulking.

i think they are more mature than some of us.

i should feel embarrassed.

sometimes i feel we are so fortunate,

its just we dont really realise it untill something bad happens to us. right?

i dun really like it when ppl always say they have problems and make it seem like as if they are the only one in this world is having a problem!

there's other ppl in this world who suffer more and have greater problems than us..

we shouldn't even complain so much about our life or even take things for granted!

haiz..i dunno laa.. suddenly i feel like talking abt this.

i got alot to say..but i just dunno how to say. nvm..

back to the kids at darul ma'wa,

i think I'm in love with them!

the first boy i noticed when i entered their library was this cute Chinese-looking boy!

i thought i was seeing double cos he has a twin! aaaauw.. how adorable...!!

Hafiz abdullah and Akhbar abdullah. 7 years old. (:

i was tutoring Akhbar at first,but instead, i was asked to tutor this boy and a girl.

i didn't want to leave him,but nvm.

and guess what?? i was actually tutoring the twins elder brother! Isa abdullah!

how coincidental.. and they are actually Chinese convert!

and and Hafiz has a small mole at the side of his nose bridge.. aaaauuwww... ((:

hahahaha.

i felt like a teacher cos this girl asked me to give her spelling!

and i had to mark her work. hee..

u noe..the kids kept calling me "kakak. kakak."

i felt so touched and happy!

there's this girl,called ana. she suddenly jumped on me and sit on my lap! ((:

and she hugged me! (:

then, there's this boy called Farhan! he's super naughty,but smart. a potential mini-mat! hahaha.

and also this girl all of a sudden kept talking to me.

he even showed me her adik! and whisper secretly to me that the home is haunted! eeyur..

alamak..u tell the wrong person laa.I'm like the most 'brave' person on earth! hahaha!

we had balloon sculpture after that..

and Hafiz asked me to make him a flower! so cute....!!!

soon, we have to leave.. i cant bear to part with them..

Fudge Chunk Brownies

INGREDIENTS

* 185g chopped pecans / walnuts
* 80g unsweetened chocolate (dark chocolate)
* 140g butter
* a pinch of salt
* 100g all-purpose flour
* 3 eggs
* 200g brown sugar + 50g white sugar OR 250g white sugar
* 1 tsp vanilla essence
* 170g semisweet chocolate chips

DIRECTIONS

1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Grease an 8 inch square baking pan.

2. Microwave unsweetened chocolate and butter to melt. Let cool.

3. In a large mixing bowl, beat the eggs, sugar and vanilla. Fold in the melted chocolate. Sift together the flour, and salt and add to mixture, stirring lightly. Add chocolate chips to mixture, along with pecans. Mix until just blended. Pour batter into pan and smooth top.

4. Bake about 25 minutes. Let cool before cutting into bars.

i baked again on sunday! Heh heh heh. chocolate-cheese cupcakes. yummy(:

He totally spoiled the song with his voice, but the music's good, man! sounds like the real deal.

Guess who's Back?

hahahahaha ranny's back heh..selamat too...hahaha
the trip was funnnnnnn especially the 4 wheel drive thing which was powered by F1 engine.. cool shit yo.... we went up the mountain and down again in that.. we played in the waterfall!!! damn cold la! i think the uncle who drove us in the 4 wheel drive thought we were mad..hahaha we were screaming and making funny noises all the time..hahahaha... probably the noisiest group of all.. lucky we got that uncle coz he wasn't afraid of going pass all the rough terrains which made the drive soo much more funnnnn! the white water rafting was cool shit too.. bumpy bumpy... i think we should bring kc nc there.. or the chillak-asssses can go there too..heh... oh oh we slept in rooms for 4... got aircon and heater... excluding the day some stupid car ramped into the generated causing alll supplys to be cut..

we had to dehusk coconuts too.. but my group damn suay la.. kena 2 rotten coconuts.. damn smelly.. like rotten vomit.. YUCKSSS!!.. i hand stinked like mad after that la..

for the whole of spec course, lina,carine and me woke up late every morning!!

cos, on the first night, there's a fire alarm and amazingly... i didnt even hear a single thing!

and on the last night, we were so scared that we'll wake up late again that we asked so many ppl to wake us up.

and again..... we woke up LATE! aiyoo..

Irsyad called me at 5.05 and i said we woke up alr. but we continue sleeping.

carine's mum called her. but we continue sleeping also.

the BTS girls woke us up and i said ''ya, ya..''

carine's alarm rang but we snoozed it.

Raihan missed call my fone alot of times,but we were still happily sleeping.

untill... the BTS girls woke us up again!!

i was so shocked when they were standing right in front of my bed! hahaha.

Goodness..! u should see our faces! lol.

and it was alr 5.55! the time for the cadets to fall in!

but that would mean that u need to get the memory card by tmr coz i'll be leaving on wed morning...eeeyurrr disgusting... i must reach sch by 6 in the morning... how to reach sch sooo earlyyyyy....

im bored..

wed is such a short day for me! come to school for only 2 hrs of lessons!
(more of 80 mins, cos the other 40 mins will be PW lecture. and i'll end up sleeping or reading or doing anything but listening!)
after school, i stayed back for a while to welcome the Japanese students from KOYU school.
(sounds like KOYOK! hahaha)
then the girls want to watch the soccer boys play against the Japanese boys..
i wasn't really interested,but i just stayed for a while..
soon,im off..

it was such a lovely weather..
raindrops falling on my head..lalala.
i slept all the way from jurong east to bedok!
and surprisingly,i didnt drool! or go into a "trance!" state.
(trance=the act of your head swinging loosely from side to side or in a cirle motion with your eyes close. according to Ria's dictionary! mel and her sis should noe more. hahaha!)
ok-lame! too bad lor,i have to find my own entertainment on my long journey home. so sad.. heh.

anw, it was sucha (: (: (: movie! I especially loved the language: there was no hint of SINGLISH at all! Just proper English, and a dialect. Cantonese, if im not mistaken. heh heh. like i know, only...! overall, it was goooood! except it was kinda... long.. my butt hurt..!

And to second what rann said, I am never in my lifetime ever going to allow myself going to an examination feeling so flustered cause i haven't done enough. Econs was a joke from hell and a good practice of free writing for me. i left my teacher a note, in case he think i'm econs retarded.

I've been having tom yum for many days for dinner. haha you know how theres a cornflake craze, a ban mian craze, a fish soup phase. now tom yum lorrrrrr. and phew for company camp on friday. BUT! its such a pity cause my mom and sis will be overseas from thurs night to sunday!
